The Graduate Diploma of Aviation represents the flight training aspect and is available for students to study alongside the Bachelor of Aviation, after successfully completing the first term of study and the required interview for entry.
The airline and airport operations major is structured to provide students with industry-relevant professional knowledge in airline and airport management and operations. This major includes aviation-specific and industry-relevant studies in aviation marketing, finance analysis, air freight transportation, resource management and planning and operation. Students will be introduced to the application of safety processes and how they are applied within the aviation industry and the laws that are relevant to airline and airport operations. Throughout the course, students learn to apply your knowledge of aviation management combined with advanced critical thinking skills to solve a range of authentic aviation problems.
