51/2 years Full time
As a graduate of a double degree in Interior Design and Property Economics, your knowledge and skills merge the economic dynamics of property with the creative innovation of interior design. You will possess an understanding of individuals’ social and psychological needs as they interact with interior environments. Considering design impact and economic viability, you can assess, develop, and manage properties.
You will be prepared to work across various interior environments, from large-scale projects like healthcare facilities, airports, and educational precincts to smaller ventures such as cafes and event design. Your career paths are varied and exciting. You could innovate in interior design and property development, consult on real estate strategies that maximise property value through design or lead sustainable design and development projects that balance economic and ecological sustainability. Your skills make you an ideal candidate for facilities and asset management, project management, and urban and community planning roles.
