This four-year degree provides students with the knowledge and professional skills necessary to foster children’s learning and development from Prep (the first year of school) through to Year 6. Students cover all aspects of the Australian curriculum, while developing vital knowledge about teaching and learning, child development, diversity and inclusion, and Indigenous education. Graduates are ready to enter the classroom after a minimum of 80 days of supervised professional experience across the degree, where they demonstrate their competence to meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
