4 years Full time or 8 years Part time
Transform your passion for engineering into a global career. Designed to open doors worldwide, this degree gives you the skills, experience, and industry connections you need to make a real impact from day one. Our hands-on approach ensures you don’t just learn theory – you apply it. Gain a solid foundation in engineering and science principles while exploring different engineering specialisations. This flexibility means you can tailor your studies to what excites you most. As you progress into your second year you’ll choose your major, dive deeper into your chosen field, and start participating in real-world engineering projects. Guest lecturers such as industry leaders and innovators will share their experiences and insights, and you’ll have the chance to ask questions, gain advice, and connect with key professionals. With smaller classes, you’ll get the mentorship and direct access you need to stay inspired and driven. In your final year, you’ll put everything you’ve learned to the test with a trimester-long project through our Industry Affiliates Program. Whether you work locally or overseas, this capstone project connects you directly with top companies and allows you to apply your skills to genuine engineering challenges. By the time you graduate you’ll have more than 400 hours of professional experience to help you succeed in your career. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at GU.
