The Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Honours) focuses on understanding how to enhance human performance, build stronger athletes, promote healthy ageing, and generally improve people’s health and well-being through exercise and physical activity. Students learn about the intricacies of human movement, and study the biology, technology, behaviour and best practices that underpin exercise and sport science. Students undertake 500 hours of practical placements, providing hands-on experience with real clients in a supervised environment. They also benefit from the latest industry equipment in UQ’s own specialist biomechanics, motor control, exercise physiology, and strength and conditioning laboratories and health clinics. For more information, visit Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Sciences (Hons) at UQ.
