In this dual degree students gain a comprehensive understanding of legal principles and institutions as well as a thorough and critical understanding of core areas of law and legal theory. Students develop professional, clinical and legal analysis skills including traditional and modern legal research methods, legal writing, advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. The Journalism component explores the practices of journalism and the way in which the media and communication work together in print, radio, television and online. Students have opportunities to gain valuable work experience through domestic and international field trips and internships. Gain valuable insights into current practice through an on-site media and production support team, and industry professionals from leading media outlets.
