In the higher education diploma year, students develop an understanding of the core concepts required in business, hotel management and tourism industries. Designed to deliver the skills critical to leadership in the 21st century, this program teaches students to seek solutions based on a wide range of perspectives. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University bachelor with credit. This degree provides highly motivated students the opportunity to develop core business skills in areas such as financial management and leadership. These are enhanced with deeper knowledge of the tourism sector, underscored by sustainability principles which are core to modern business practice. In the fourth year, students acquire high-level research skills and take a deeper dive into the topic of their choice.
