Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre

Who can apply for EAS?

You can apply for EAS if you are applying for tertiary study through QTAC. You don’t have to be in Year 12 or currently studying to apply for EAS, but most EAS categories relate to circumstances that affect your most recent studies.

What is EAS?

The Educational Access Scheme can help you if you have experienced circumstances that negatively affected your most recent studies. If you are assessed as eligible, you could receive adjustments to your ATAR or QTAC selection rank under EAS. Please check with the institution you are applying to for the maximum adjustments allowable.

What adjustments can I receive?

Adjustments may be applied for factors such as performance in certain Year 12 and university subjects, living or attending school in a certain location, sporting and consideration through QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme.

How do I apply?

Visit qtac.edu.au/application-services/Create an account or log in to an existing account.Fill out and lodge your application.Submit copies of your qualifications (if required).

What are adjustment factors?

Adjustment factors are additional points that may be combined with your ATAR or rank from other qualifications to derive a QTAC selection rank. Adjustments do not permanently change your ATAR but change your selection rank for the course/s you have preferenced and may increase your chances of getting an offer.
