I applied for courses through QTAC in a previous year. Do I need to create a new application for this year, or can I log into my old application?
A QTAC Application is only valid for the admissions period in which you are applying for. If you wish to lodge a new application for the next admissions period, log into your account and submit a new application.

I have overseas qualifications, can I apply?
You only apply through QTAC if you are:an Australian citizenan Australian permanent residenta permanent humanitarian visa holder (201 or 202), ora New Zealand citizen.If you have qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction, you may also need to provide evidence of English language proficiency.View the English Language Proficiency page for further information.
Are there some qualifications that cannot be assessed?
Yes. The following courses aren’t assessed by QTAC:Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificates I and IIStatements of AttainmentTAFE StatementsCourses delivered by Australian private providers that are not accredited. Can I have my qualifications assessed before I apply?
Yes, however, once you lodge your application, assessing your qualifications is part of the service. I meet all of the entry requirements, does that mean I automatically get an offer?
Theres a bit more to it than just being eligible. You’ll also need to compete against other eligible applicants, and your selection will depend on how well you meet the selection criteria for each course.
I’ve done a few different things since leaving school – some study and some work. How am I assessed?
The way your experience is assessed depends on the individual institution’s entry criteria. Some institutions will look at everything you’ve done (including school, even if it was a long time ago) and give each of your qualifications, studies and experience a different weight. Some institutions will focus on just your highest qualification.
Is it easier to get into university if I’m not a current Year 12 student?
