Who decides who receives an offer?

Institutions decide who they will make offers to. QTAC’s role is to assess an application against the guidelines and policies set out by universities and confirm an applicant’s eligibility and merit (competitiveness). Once an applicant is eligible for the course they have applied for, it is then up to the institution to send offers, considering the competitiveness of the applicant against all others applying.
